This does appear to be extremely dirty for 14K miles worth of driving, given that these are supposed to go for up to 20K mile on some Citroen service schedules. I serviced a 1.6HDi C4 which had done 24/25K miles since the last one, the oil was very odd looking, it felt dry and could not have been any more dirty but it drained out fine.
